An educator at heart, Jessica thrives on connection. Over decades, she's taught French, Spanish and English as foreign languages, as well as PE, yoga and mindfulness. She has the rare capacity to effectively teach students of all ages, babies to seniors. Her dynamic teaching style and keen interpersonal skills are informed by and interwoven with humor, patience, personal anecdotes and compassion. It's a privilege and honor to share so many of her passions with a broad range of people, exchanging knowledge, insights and skills. Jessica prioritizes and promotes self-connection through self-care and self-acceptance. She begins the day with meditation, journaling, yoga and energy medicine practices. Jessica also enjoys fun cardio workouts, water therapy, speaking French, music, dancing and the arts. She's an adherent of Non-Violent Communication, Mindful Self-Compassion and Mindfulness Meditation. She believes wholeheartedly in the healing effects of being in nature. Jessica lives on Capitol Hill with her lovely teenage son, where she's happy to bike about.
